Day 1- November 25 – Depart the U.S. for Italy.

Day 2 - November 26 – Montecatini:  Upon arrival, proceed to baggage claim and clear customs. Transfer (optional) by our private bus for our lovely drive to Montecatini and our villa, the 4 and a half star Grand Vittoria Hotel. For centuries, Montecatini has been an exclusive world-renowned spa resort, famed for its spring waters, thermal baths and numerous spa treatments. The hotel spa features numerous treatments including drinking cures, thermal baths, mudpacks, general massages, sub water massages and respiratory treatments. Enjoy dinner tonight with the group. Day 3 - November 27 – Montecatini:  Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy the early part of the day to take advantage of the spa facilities or explore Montecatini on your own. Later, preparations for our holiday dinner will begin as you join Chef Jon Franco for a shopping trip into town to purchase all the fresh ingredients. Then back into the Tuscan hills to a lovely villa farmhouse owned by the hotel manager. There, Chef will present a full class on the preparation of a special turkey dinner that everyone will prepare together. Wine is poured and the feast begins! (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 4 - November 28 – Montecatini/Florence/ Montecatini:  This morning after breakfast depart for a full day excursion to Florence, the Cradle of Renaissance. Its striking buildings, formidable galleries and treasure-crammed churches attest to the Florentine love of display. Its elegant appearance the skyline, with its russet rooftops and lofty domes, contributed to give this city its role of important center for culture and arts. See the Cathedral, whose gigantic “cupola” is the symbol of Florence’s artistic achievements, the Baptistery with its fine bronze doors adorned with the famous gates of Paradise, and Piazza della Signoria. Free time for strolling and shopping on your own and visit the San Lorenzo market and the jewelry laboratories on the famed Ponte Vecchio. Tonight dinner is at the hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 5 - November 29 – Montecatini/Lucca/Montecatini:  Lucca is the capital of the Province of Lucchesia and is one of the richest areas in Tuscany for history, tradition and culture. Lucca is one of the most ancient towns of Etruria with its rich cultural and mercantile heritage and boasts a unique town centre which is completely enclosed by monumental walls which date back to the 1500th century. The Wall, whilst not being quite as well known as the Great Wall of China, is a spectacular fortification. There are also churches, of course, monuments and the gardens of the great villas. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 6 - November 30 – Montecatini/Cinque Terre/Montecatini:  After breakfast, early in the morning, depart for La Spezia, a coastal town east of Montecatini, along the Mediterranean Sea. Take a ferryboat to The Cinque Terre (weather permitting), one of the most beautiful areas of the Liguria Region. Here, five small villages are suspended between sea and earth, nestled in the cliffs overlooking the sea and green hills. Tonight dinner is at the hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 7 - December 1 – Montecatini/U.S.:  After breakfast, return to the airport for flights home. If you wish to share a transfer, we will book your flights for early morning departure. (Breakfast)
