Plus de Paris- The Euro Buster trip- very little "out of pochet"
April 4 Depart to Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris. Flights are not included but ask us about our prices on Air France (D, B on board). Make sure you look out as you land for a magnificent city panorama. April 5 Arrive Paris; optional transfer to Paris Hilton at the foot of the Eiffel Tower**. Tonight we meet for welcome orientation- 6-7 PM- then welcome dinner-wine included at a local restaurant. (D) **Note on transfers: there are many ways to travel from the airport to our hotel, we send you information with your trip package. And we send you a list of others on your flight so you can meet up on the plane! Coming on your own, we are happy to arrange a private car to meet you. April 6 Full buffet breakfast then a full day of sightseeing of Paris from our bus. We will begin at 9AM each morning unless you are told otherwise in Paris. We go up to the first floor of the Eiffel Tower to cap our ground level views. Lunch at local restaurant or a traditional tea room.Tonight dinner again with our group in a local restaurant (B L D) April 7 Breakfast then another day of sightseeing, including a tour of Notre Dame. Then enjoy a charming walk through the medieval Ile St. Louis with some of the hidden treasures of Parisian life. (B. ) April 8 Breakfast then a 9-10AM meet and greet at our hotel for those of you who wish more individual information! Then we are off to the Left Bank for a walking tour followed by a guided visit to the Orsay Museum, fashioned out of a Victorian Railway Station and considered one of the greatest museums in Europe. We finish mid afternoon, local conditions depending. (B) April 9 Breakfast then a full free day in Paris for individual pursuits with help from our guide who met with you on April 8. Members usually get together during free time. (B) April 10l Breakfast then we walk to the Louvre Museum for a guided tour this morning. The rest of today is free for options or for wandering. If you wish English speaking events, check out Pariscope at a local newspaper stand for its center insert on walks, plays, events. April 11 Breakfast then free time until our Farewell Dinner tonight in a local restaurant. Our guide will again be at our hotel from 9-10AM to give you suggestions or to help you with options. Note: on Fridays there are free fashion shows at elegant Galeries Lafayettes Department store, to book email them directly at welcome@galerieslafayette.com April 12 Breaktast then off to the airport for flights home. (B). Our members often share taxis to Charles de Gaulle but optional transfers available at $135 for 1-2 persons and $150 for 3 persons. |
