Half-day Tour of Malaga
As compact as Malaga is, it is surprisingly historical. Major sights include the 16th century single-tower Cathedral, the 14th century castle, Castillo de Gibralfaro, and the Alcazabra fortress, a major landmark of this city that dates back to the 700s. A drive along The Port, Malagueta Beach, and the Bullring complete the city tour. Then on to the Picasso Museum for a guided tour. Spain's celebrated painter, Pablo Picasso, was born here in 1881 in the corner house of an elegant yellow-toned block on Plaza de la Merced. Today, the Picasso Museum is housed in a magnificent 16th century building. The collection of more than 200 works includes paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics and engravings by this artistic genius from Malaga.

Half-day Tour of Ronda
Perched over the dizzying gorge of El Tajo, Ronda is Rilke’s “dreamed-of city,” the “jasmine-scented repose” of Borges and, for the thousands of tourists who visit it and can’t believe their eyes, the epitome of an experience never to be surpassed. Like other “white villages” that owe their name to the way their residents often scatter lime on the walls of their houses, beautiful Ronda is further accentuated by its stunning bridge and the oldest bullring in Spain. These villages seem to be nestled into the mountainside. Red tile roofs and narrow streets complete the appearance of a typical "pueblo blanco."

Full-day Tour of Granada with the Alhambra
Granada . . . beautiful and historic, with a rich and diverse history of inhabitants including prehistoric native tribes, the Romans, the Arabs who gave the city it’s current name, and  the Christians, who conquered it in 1492 for the monarchs Queen Isabella and Ferdinand. One of the most brilliant jewels of universal architecture is the Alhambra, a series of palaces and gardens built in the 14th century. Set against the magnificent backdrop of Spain's highest mountain range, the Sierra Nevada, it is a mighty compound of buildings – including the summer palace with its fountains and gardens – and represents one of the most exquisite examples of Moorish architecture in the world.

Optional Activities
Our tour representative will be available to provide full details on a variety of additional activities, such as a round of golf and tours to Gibraltar or Tangiers. An excellent website to view is Visit Costa del Sol.

Day 7 - Thursday, October 30: Costa del Sol/U.S.  After breakfast transfer to the airport for your return flight home. (Breakfast)
