Experience the grand imperial cities of Budapest and Prague with glorious pasts and uncover a wealth of history, culture and tradition. Discover treasures such as Buda Castle Hill in Budapest, a collection of palaces, churches and monuments. See the famous “Blue Danube” as it flows through the city dividing Buda and Pest. Thanks to it’s perfect location, hospitable inhabitants and memorable monuments Buda-pest is called "The Little Paris of Central Europe" and "The Pearl of the Danube". Prague is known as the “City of One Hundred Spires” and when you arrive you will soon see why as the city churches and palaces create one of Europe’s most majestic skylines. The histories of Budapest and Prague have been marked by waves of conquerors over the centuries.


The Angelo Hotel is located in the central Prague district of Smichov, close to the historical center. The hotel’s interior designer, Veronika Jurkowitsch, applied a mixture of black, coral red, yellow and white tones in perfect harmony. Enjoy a pleasant stay in one of our 163 double or twin rooms, which feature individually adjustable air conditioning, hair dryer, coffee and tea making facilities, high-speed Internet access, DVD players, TV, radio, mini-bar, safe with laptop recharge plug, chair and writing desk. The beds are luxurious and extra large. The spacious bathrooms include separate shower with adjustable shower head, hair dryer, floor heating and complimentary toiletries. The hotel offers a wide range of services, including a fitness and health center, beauty parlor and hairdressers, all of which can be found at the adjacent Andel’s Hotel Prague located in the same complex.
The Continental Hotel Zara is located in Budapest's downtown, offering 272 rooms with art deco flourishes, and with WIFI connection, LCD TV, telephone, mini- bar, air conditioning, in-room safe, luggage rack, toiletries kit, hair dryer and en-suite tub or shower. The hotel welcomes guests, providing tailor-made services with well-equipped conference rooms, wellness and fitness center, massage, ARAZ restaurant with terrace, Gallery Café, our own underground private parking garage, two courtyards and a Roof Garden.

ITINERARY
Day 1 - Depart New York (JFK) for Prague.
Day 2 - Prague: Arrive in the Czech Republic's beautiful city of Prague, "The Golden City of a Hundred Spires". Proceed to baggage claim and after clearing customs, you will be met by our representative to transfer to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure. This evening there will be an orientation and a welcome dinner at the hotel. (Dinner)
Day 3 - Prague: After breakfast, enjoy a full-day guided city tour of Prague. See Strahov Monastery, founded in the 12th century, with its library consisting of two baroque halls. From the terrace you have an outstanding view of Prague. Continue on foot to Loreto Monastery and to Prague Castle, then to St. Vitus Cathedral, the largest of the Prague churches constructed over a period of six centuries. The cathedral reflects evolving architectural styles from High Gothic to Art Nouveau. You'll also visit the Old Royal Palace, St. George's Basilica and Golden Lane with Daliborka Tower. Afterwards, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 4 - Prague/Karlovy Vary (Optional Tour- $124 per person based on 10 going)/Prague: Enjoy your day at leisure in Prague or take an optional tour to the largest and best known Czech spa, Karlovy Vary. The founding of the town has been linked with the name of the Emperor Charles IV since 1358 when he had a hunting lodge built here. Its twelve famous springs reach a temperature of about 72°C, at their hottest. Karlovy Vary is also famous for local china and glass manufacturing. The products of these industries are on display at special exhibitions and are sold at specialized shops. The spa was visited by rulers and artists like Goethe, Chateaubriand, Chopin, Beethoven, Brahms, Dvorak, etc. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 5 - Prague/Pilsen (Optional Tour $140 per person based on 10 going)/Prague: Enjoy your day at leisure. Explore the Old Town Square and New Town, the Charles Bridge, and the Old Jewish Cemetery with its ancient tombstones dating from the mid 14th to late 17th centuries. You might also visit Hradcany Castle on your own or take the optional tour to Pilsen. Beer has been brewed in the town of Pilsen since it was founded in 1295. Your factory visit will show you how Pilsner was brewed and drunk in the past, and how it is brewed and drunk today. You'll visit the museum's collection documenting the brewery's 150-year history, and have lunch in the brewery's restaurant. After lunch we visit the Czech Republic's most famous glass factory, situated in the small town of Nizbor on the River Berounka (a tributary of the Vltava River), around an hour's drive from Prague. The factory tour reveals the complete history of glass production in Bohemia. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 6 - Prague/Budapest: In the morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Budapest. Arrive in Budapest, meet your local representative and transfer to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to relax and explore the city on your own. Our representative can answer all your questions regarding the nearby attractions, optional tours or restaurants. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 7 - Budapest: After breakfast, take a full-day guided city tour of Budapest, aboard your private motorcoach where you'll be introduced to the main attractions of this Hungarian capital. First, visit Hosok Tere (Heroes Square) in Pest, and see the world-renowned Opera House and the Parliament. Then in Buda, take a walk through the Castle District finally ending at Gellert Hill, which offers a breathtaking view over the city. Then you can wander these charming streets or cross one of the many bridges linking Buda and Pest, before returning to your hotel for dinner and overnight. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 8 - Budapest/Visegrad, Esztergom and Szentendre (Optional Tour $92 per person based on 10 going)/Budapest: Spend the day at leisure and venture through this magnificent city. Experience a traditional Budapest ritual and visit the public baths in Spa Town with their famed thermal springs or visit the impressive Royal Castle, the former residence of the Hungarian royals, with its stunning views over the Danube and Pest. There is an optional tour available to the three major settlements marking the route to the scenic bend of the River Danube. We first visit Visegrad, former Royal Residence, with it’s fascinating view over the Danube Bend. We then proceed to Esztergom, the ecclesiastical center of Hungary, where we visit the cathedral. Afterwards, we go on a guided walking tour around Szentendre, the medieval artists’ town. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 9 - Budapest/USA: This morning transfer to the airport for your return flight home. Our local representative will advise you of the scheduled time of your return transfer. (Breakfast)

Day 9 - Budapest/Vienna: In the morning, transfer by motorcoach from Budapest to Vienna. Upon arrival in Vienna, you will be met by an English speaking guide and driver to transfer to your hotel. Today you will enjoy a full-day of sightseeing in Vienna. As a European city, Vienna combines beauty and charm with culture, style and sophistication. You will see the Ringstrasse known for such magnificent buildings as the Museum of Applied Arts, the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Natural History. Afterwards see the Hofburg, and en route, see the Stephansdom in the downtown district. End your sightseeing with a visit to the beautiful Palace Schönbrunn, and take a highlight tour inside the palace which was once the summer residence of the Hapsburg Family and Maria Theresa. Overnight at The Hotel Am Konzerthaus or similar.
Day 10 - Vienna: After breakfast, the day is at leisure for you to enjoy Vienna and all her charms. In the evening transfer by coach to Grinzing, the wine growing region of Vienna, and enjoy a real traditional Heuriger farewell dinner at a local restaurant with live Austrian music. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 11 - Vienna/USA: After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight back to the USA. (Breakfast) Please note: Though rare, it may be necessary to substitute hotels and adjust itineraries due to local conditions.
