Since 1992, we have had 1000's of women on our trips. The best way to introduce you to our Club is to let you hear from them. Our members come from all over the United States, Canada, Mexico, and across the pond as well. They love to talk about their travels with us. Our reputation speaks for itself!
Emerald Ireland – June 2009
The Ireland trip was fantastic in every way. Having traveled with the Women's Travel Club in the past, I had very high expectations, and this trip exceeded those expectations in every way. The itinerary was brilliantly planned. There was a perfect mix of the sophisticated city life with the raw, natural beauty of rural Ireland. I was especially impressed by the personal touches that other tours do not provide. There is not a single detail of the trip that I would change. Each day I thought it couldn't get better, but then it did. I am still in awe of the breathtaking beauty of County Kerry and will always remember our fabulous pony and trap ride and the incredible boat ride on the lake near Killarney. This was the magical trip to Ireland that I have dreamed about for my whole life. Thanks for everything. Kathy O, Palmetto Bay, FL
I had a wonderful time on the trip – my 3rd with the Women’s Travel Club– and I found Ireland to be a beautiful place, well worth my visit. The trip was well organized, as usual. It is lovely not having to move hotels each day or so, and I think that makes the difference with the WTC trips that I have been on. It was great that we not only saw the usual tourist sights, but also some of the special, behind the scenes places. I think that makes a trip stand out from others. Elaine V, Queensland, Australia
Tuscan Table – May 2009
I must say that I enjoyed this trip immensely. Everyone affiliated with it was special, and really went out of their way to show us an impeccable time. It was top shelf all the way; they didn't skimp on anything! The staff was so friendly and warm, including the staff at the hotel, the staff at the Villa, and the tour guide, Lynn. Whoever dreamed up the itinerary made sure that EVERYTHIING we needed to know about Tuscany was included...Can't wait for the next trip!! Lois K, Brooklyn, NY
Egypt / Nile Cruise – April 2009
I am composing this email on my return flight from Cairo to New York. The nine days I spent in Egypt with the Woman's Travel Group were thrilling, exhausting and totally satisfying. This trip had been my dream for a lifetime. Egypt is amazing with its history, monuments and its people. That brings me to the subject of our peerless guide. From the moment he gathered us at the airport, he was calming and approachable and he kept everything moving smoothly. We were a diverse group and somehow, he managed all of us with warmth and sureness and humor. He was knowledgeable about everything we saw and everything we could think of to ask. He was fully authentic and skilled at explaining differences in culture, religion and politics--along with a deep understanding of history, art and architecture. I have many friends who are waiting to hear about my experience before they plan their trips to Egypt. Fredda G, New York City
Ixtapan Spa, Mexico – February 2009
Thank you for the Women’s Travel Club! I loved my week of pampering and relaxation. Like every other woman in the world (lol), I deal with loads of stress on a daily basis, mostly work-related. So this vacation is just the antidote to our fast-paced lives. Because I’m traveling alone, I’m really looking forward to doing what I want, when I want, without having to check in with a hundred other people! For me, I thought that this would also be a perfect opportunity to get back in touch with who I am and what I want out of life. Plus, who couldn’t use some time in the sun right about now? Sitting by the pool with a good book and a glass of wine . . . heaven! Rosemary D, West New York, NJ
China Highlights – December 2008
Our trip to China was nothing short of amazing! Aside from the the wonderful new friends and our incredible guide, the planning and execution of this trip to encompass all that we were able to see and do in such a relatively short time was incredible. I look forward to sharing photos with everyone. And I know that I will never think of Christmas and the New Year without thinking of this wonderful experience. Kitty H, Manalapan, NJ
Thanksgiving in Tuscany – November 2008
The cooking class was indeed fun, and Gianfranco was a great performer as well as an excellent chef. I thought the food was wonderful; everyone agreed that the portions were overwhelmingly generous, and if you could not find something you liked, then you were probably impossible to please. I loved the hotel staff; they were as good as any I have encountered, with no exceptions. The hotel was lovely. My favorite trip was to Cinque Terre. It was overwhelming. In fact, I think the three of us, at least, felt that the arrangement of the excursions was perfect, as each day seemed to get better. Everyone loved Florence and seeing the David and the market. And then we fell more in love still with Lucca, and then Cinque Terre topped everything. Lynn, our guide, arranged a side trip for those who were interested to go up to Montecatini Alto and I loved that, as well. Kay A, Shreveport, LA
Iceland – October 2008
Iceland was incredible!!! I feel so enriched by having gone there. The Golden Circle Tour was wonderful. The Icelandic landscape is like something I’ve never seen before - steam arising here and there, beautiful waterfalls at random and my favorite, a geyser out in the middle of a field. We were able to walk right up to it and look down into the hole to watch the water get sucked down and then watch it start filling up again and begin bubbling and getting ready to erupt all over again (every 5 minutes). I know I will never be able to get that close to a geyser anywhere else. We learned about how the lava eruptions build land and saw the different stages of how first there’s the black lava field, and then after time, it’s covered with green moss and then becomes covered with grass and finally becomes pasture land. We passed fields on one side of the road that looked like they were from another planet and then on the other side would be pastures that looked like rural California. Sue C, Lakewood, CA
Hong Kong & China – July 2008
China totally broadened my appreciation of who I am, and where I am privileged to live. I learned a lot from this trip that has changed me profoundly for the better. René B, Paradise, CA
I’ve been fortunate to have traveled to several different countries with different cultures from my own over the years. To me this is one of the joys of traveling. As far as this trip was concerned, I hadn’t expected Hong Kong to have still as much British influence as it appeared to have. Was pleasantly surprised with Beijing, especially enjoying the trip to The Hutongs. I enjoy history and people. Also Xian was wonderful. Joan M, Ontario, Canada
Amalfi Coast – June 2008
Pompeii was fantastic. Our guide, Lucia, was perfect and did a great job giving us the tour. The hotel was nice, very clean rooms, good air conditioning (it was so hot that week!), excellent breakfast spread, and beautiful scenery. Lois C, Hammond, LA
April in Paris – April 2008
The trip was just one of the best I have ever taken. The other ladies were really nice and we all got along and were very compatible. We loved the smallness of our group and believe that it helped us to enjoy our trip. We each got to talk to our guides who were some of the best that I have ever had on similar trips. One of the drivers took us back to Montmartre and we enjoyed walking through Sacre Coeur on our own, yes he received a nice tip. Will I go with Women’s Travel Club again, a most definite YES. – Lucille C, Murrells Inlet, SC
